- Preparation: We start by meticulously preparing cabinet surfaces, removing doors, drawers, and hardware. A thorough degreasing process using Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) ensures a clean canvas for refinishing.
- Masking and Protection: After drying, every non-painted area is carefully masked to safeguard against any unintended paint application.
- Sanding and Cleaning: A comprehensive sanding process follows to guarantee optimal adhesion, accompanied by vacuuming and an acetone wash for a pristine surface.
- Primer Application: We apply a full coat of shellac stain-blocking primer using an airless sprayer, ensuring an even base for the finish coats.
- Finishing Touches: After a second sanding to refine surfaces, we apply one to two full coats of premium finish color. We conduct scratch tests to verify proper adhesion and address any imperfections with meticulous sanding and re-spraying.
- Cabinet Restoration: Cabinet doors and drawers undergo refinishing in our shop before being re-installed in your home, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
